ABOUT ME | Hi, I’m Lisa Jackson, owner and Principal Geospatial Specialist at GeoGoody. I’m a seasoned GIS professional as well as a fiber ar tisLisa portraitt and potter. I have an unusual combination of creative and technical abilities.

I first learned about GIS over 11 years ago when a coworker created a campus tree inventory using ArcView, and I haven’t stopped learning.  I’ve a acquired my skills through a lot of on-the-job training plus some professional courses along the way.
I am hard-working, self-motivated and I welcome new and interesting challenges!

WHAT I USED TO DO

  • Facilities mapping for the University of Georgia (UGA) and Georgia Tech.
  • Gardening for UGA’s specialty courtyard and native gardens on campus.
  • Book production for educational text books, desktop publishing, graphic design, and illustration.
